The Kuechenpiloten are back for their 8th installment, once again live and direct from the depths of Subland. After the last few sessions led us through the somewhat darker realms of Drum N Bass, we’ve decided to join forces with the almighty Lion’s Den, flying high to shed light in the midst of darkness.

Our special guest of the evening is none other than Aries, one of the concrete jungles rising stars, and a regular at several of the UKs leading nights including Movement, Innovation and Accelerated Culture. With releases on Benny Page & Heist’s Co-Lab Recordings as well as New York based Lion Dubs, Aries’ collaborations with the likes of David Boomah and Jacky Murda have left a lasting mark in the world of Reggae Drum & Bass, introducing a new depth of soul and postive energy into his music. Responisble for massive tunes such as “Herb Smoke”, which was championed by DJ Bailey on BBC Radio 1 and remixed by TC and Marcus Visionary, Aries has long since made an impact on the UK dj circuit, having been voted Best Local DJ in his home town of Birmingham in 2009, where he has held a residency at Break Thru since 2000.
