JAHYU (Steppas Rec. / Monkey Dub Rec. // Hamburg/Seoul)

JahYu produces dubs which are rooted in reggae soundsystem culture and are mainly influenced by Dubbers like Alpha & Omega, Iration Steppas, Jah Shaka, Lee ‚Scratch‘ Perry, etc. JahYu dubs push out a heavy bass sound, that is overlayed by east asian melodies mostly played by flute or sitar. All together it’s an asian dub style that intends to combine rootical Reggae & Dub sound with traditional korean music.
